We are the Langs, and Lang’s Little Bakery is our family business. We have always loved to bake – it’s in our (German) genes, handed down through many generations. Baking is our love language.

In 2021, Hannah was diagnosed with coeliac disease, 4 weeks into her pastry cheffing degree at AUT, which meant she had to abandon her studies. So, we simply decided to do our own thing and created Lang’s Little Bakery to enable Hannah’s pastry cheffing dreams to come true.

When you buy from us, you buy baking made with love, passion, and attention to detail. Our biggest joy is to put a smile on your face with our creations.

Our kitchen

Our beloved food trailer Elsie, custom-built to meet our baking needs, is where all the magic happens. No gluten ever makes it into our kitchen, and we have robust processes in place to prevent any accidental cross-contamination. We can therefore very confidently say that ALL our products are completely gluten-free and coeliac-safe!

Coeliac NZ Accreditation

We are currently in the process of getting accredited as a gluten-free business with Coeliac NZ.

We were lucky to have our son’s birthday cake baked by Lang’s Little Bakery. We didn’t realise it was going to be gluten-free (we are not), and honestly, we were blown away. No one noticed, as the cake was not only gorgeous, but also absolutely delicious. 100% recommend.
